Wind Breaker (ウインドブレイカー, Uindo Bureikā?), stylized as WIND BREAKER, is the anime adaptation of the Japanese manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Satoru Nii. In late March 2023, the adaptation was announced to be produced by CloverWorks.[2] The series was released on April 5, 2024, in Japan.[3] A second season was announced following the finale of the first season, confirmed for release in 2025.[4]
Synopsis
Haruka Sakura is the new lonely first-year high school student at Furin High School, which is recognized in town as a school for delinquents with its students' notoriously bad academic reputation. However, he eventually meets the members of Bofurin, an organization within Furin High comprised of student delinquents, one by one and learns that they are the sole protectors of the town, contradictory to his initial expectations.
