Noroshi

Noroshi (のろし, Signal Fire^?) is a team composed of ten battle-hungry individuals who are against the ideals of Bofurin's peaceful co-existence between the various factions of Furin High and the neighboring townsfolk. With the goal of turning Furin's time back to when everyone fought for the top,^[3] Noroshi served as the main antagonists of the Noroshi arc

Background

As the founder of Noroshi, Yamato Endo entered Furin High as a first-year alongside Hajime Umemiya and his team. Creating a faction of aggressive fighters who never lost a fight against their older schoolmates, Endo prioritized with keeping his team small and strong in contrast to Umemiya's goal of turning enemies into friends and, in turn, expanding his influence. The fights that they have engaged in also expanded to other teams outside of Furin.^[1]

According to Umemiya, the group abandoned Furin prior to the official unification of the school. Umemiya stated that it's because of this reason that he and his allies never won against them before.^[1] Umemiya added it has always felt like a desperate struggle against Endo's crew every time they crossed paths and that the latter would eventually leave the school voluntarily, having lost interest in a proper, orderly Furin.^[3]

Structure

It is unknown the extent of Endo's control over each group member as they are free to do whatever they want once dispatched to a certain location. They are unified solely by their goals of: (1) Taking down Umemiya and Bofurin & (2) Destroying the current town of Makochi and returning it to its former state.^[4]^[5]^[6]
