Kotoha Tachibana (橘 ことは, Tachibana Kotoha^?) is a waitress at Café Pothos.

Appearance

Kotoha has short, burgundy-colored hair, nicely styled in a middle-part. She has round, amber eyes and fairly thick eyelashes with a mole under her left eye. Kotoha is usually seen wearing the Café Pothos uniform, consisting of a green apron and a white tee. Her outdoors outfit she is first seen in consists of a small, leather black bag, pump heels, a white plaid shirt jacket, and a skirt arriving down to her calves. Overall, although she is 16, she is noted by a surprised Sakura to look more like a young adult than a teenager when he finds out her age.

Personality

Kotoha is a cheerful girl with a surprising amount of maturity for her age. Despite her cheerful demeanor, she can be fiercely independent, as shown when some boys bother her on the street, she shuts them down cold and threatens to lob eggs at them if they persist. She can also come across as cold, like when she bluntly tells Sakura he couldn't become the leader because he was on his own. Yet, she often shows up with her playful and expressive side.

Story

Kotoha was raised in the same orphanage as Hajime Umemiya.

She meets Sakura on his first day in town and invites him to Cafe Potus. Throughout the story, they engage in frequent conversations, with Kotoha offering Sakura a lot of advice.

Kotoha is usually affable and gets along with the citizens of the town.

Hajime Umemiya

Umemiya and Kotoha grew up together at Furinen Orphanage. While Umemiya adores her and refers to her as his little sister, Kotoha appears embarrassed by how Umemiya treats her.

Haruka Sakura

She meets Sakura on his first day in town when he saves her from some thugs and invites him to Cafe Potus. Despite Sakura's initial reservations towards Kotoha, he seems to like her cooking and soon becomes a frequent visitor to the cafe she works at. Throughout the story, they engage in frequent conversations, with Kotoha offering Sakura a lot of advice.
